COMMERCIAL VEHICLE CRASH FATALITIES, INJURIES, AND PROPERTY DAMAGE — FLORIDA AND U.S. STATISTICS:

As the number of vehicles on the road continues to increase, so does the number of collisions. Since 1975, the number of large trucks on the road has skyrocketed, with the trucking industry’s share of total goods transportation steadily on the rise. In fact, it is estimated that eventually most of the nation’s commodities will be transported by commercial vehicles. With so many new trucks on the road, the risk of commercial vehicle crash fatalities rises significantly. On this page you will find fatal truck and tractor trailer accident statistics for Florida and the rest of the United States.
